SSS

If two triangles have sides which are all the same length, then they are congruent. The trianlge is fixed in shape and size. We call this side-side-side SSS.

SAS

If the sides of two triangles are the same and so is the included angle then the triangles are congruent. The triangles are fixed in shape and size. We call this side-angle-side SAS.

ASA

If two triangles have two of the same angles and one side is the same then they are congruent. The triangles are fixed in shape and size. We call this angle-side-angle ASA.

RHS

When there is a right angled triangle and the hypontenuse and a side is the same as the other triangle, then the two triangles are congruent. The triangles are fixed in shape, as pythagoras' theorem solves the third length of the triangle. We call this right angle-hypotenuse-side RHS

Report

A good, clear set of flash cards clearly illustrating the 4 proofs of conguent triangles.  I would reccomend a diagram to go with each of them if students are printing them out to revise from.
