28 NOVEMBER - 1 DECEMBER 1943 Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin
TEHRAN AGREEMENTS:
- USA and Britain would open a 2nd front to split Germany and take some pressure off Russia.
- Russia should have a sphere of influence in Europe. USA and Britain also would have one in the the West.
- When Germany is defeated, Russia will declare war on Japan.
- Poland will be given some of Germany's land, however Russia will take some from Poland.
CHURCHILL wanted to invade the BALKINS (to help the war effort and stop the spread of communism) but ROOSEVELT sided with STALIN.
STALIN had been angry as he believed USA and Britain to have delayed opening a 2nd front.
