Real Time System

REAL TIME OPERATING SYSTEM

-Used for applications that are non-sequential in nature

-Events occur at intermittent time in parallel with other events

-Must respond to inputs quickly-on a time scale measured in micro or milliseconds

-Used for applications where there is a continous cycle of input-processing-output-input etc

-Dedicated to one particular task

-Receives regulated and little number of inputs

-produces few outputs

-requires little memory

needs a lot more infromaton, e.g examples and other tyes of operatig systems, like desktop OS , and the advantages and disadvantages of both
