Commersialisation of Sport and Physical Activity

Is the act of making something available to purchase with aims of making profit.

Sport, media and business all feeding back into the commercial system.

The more elite the sport the more media coverage it gains, the more media coverage a sport gains the more businesses invests in them, the more  money sports recieve in businesses the betteer the training, facilities and wages making some sports much more elite.

There are a variety of both advantages and disadvantages of this relationshipto sport. Example: some players get business recognition, however the play times may become effected due to times people watch on televison ( if there was a match in England but more people watched that sport in America than they will become prioritised to view the game maening the game will start at a time frame that suits the state instead of the players current location time)
