Reaction with Co2+

Observation with NaOH:

Pink solution forms a blue precipitate, turning biege in the prescence of air.

Co2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq) --> Co(OH)2(s)

Reaction with Fe 2+

Observatio with NaOH:

Pale green reacts to form a dark green precipitate, turning a rusty brown on surface when reacting with air.

Fe2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq) --> Fe(OH)2(s)

Observation with NaOH:
Pale yellow solution forms a rusty brown precipitate 

Fe3+(aq) + 3OH-(aq) --> Fe(OH)3(s)

Obseravtion with NaOH:

Pale blue solution forms a pale blue precipitate. 

Cu2+(aq) + 2OH-(aq)--> Cu(OH)2(s)
