What is colour Blindness?

Genetic condition
Result of an abnormality in the retina
Can be due to diseases such as diabetes and multiple sclerosis
Ageing process
True colour Blindness is very rare, the individual has no colour perception at all
Colour vision deficiency is difficulty distinguishing between colours
Affects 2.7 million (4.5% of the population) mostly men.
Varies in severity
Some people are not aware that they are colour blind.
