Class A (examples and sentence)

Class A drugs are considered to be the MOST DANGEROUS AND ADDICTVE.

They include:

  • Heroin
  • Maximum sentence for possession: 7 years imprisonment
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: life imprisonment

  • Ecstasy, LSD, Cocaine
  • Maximum sentence for possession: same as above
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: same as above

  • Cannabis
  • Maximum sentence for possession: 5 years imprisonment
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: 14 years imprisonment

  • Amphetamines
  • Maximum sentence for possession: same as above
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: same as above

Class C (examples and sentence)

  • Ananbolic steroids
  • Maximum sentence for possession: possession is legal
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: 14 years if dealed illegally

  • Maximum sentence for possession: 2 years for possession without a prescription
  • Maximum sentence for dealing: 14 years
