Electrophilic addition

1)Hydrogen Bromide / Room temperature = bromoalkanes

2)Bromine water  /Room Temperature = dibromoalkanes

3)Sulphuric Acid / Cold / Concentrated = alkyl hydrogen sulphate

Nucleophillic Subsition

Reagents/Conditions = Products:

1) Hydroxide ions(NaOH or KOH) / Warm & Reflux = alcohol

2) Cyanide Ions (KCN in aqueous ethanol) / Boil & Reflux = Nitrile

3)Ammonia (NH3 in ethanol) / sealed tube & Heat = Amine
