What is Centralisation?
Centralisation is the process by which the activities of an organization, particularly those regarding planning and decision-making, become concentrated within a particular location and/or group or keeping all of the important decision making powers within head office or the center of the organization.
Examples:
Pros
- by making the decisions on a large scale you can save money.
- the organisation can benefit from decisiions made by more expirenced senior managers.
Cons
- other branches may not feel as if they have any independance and therfore will be unhappy.
