Pollution In China

-China refuses to act until America takes the lead

-Hong Kong air is polluted. This is due to factroies around pearl harbour. Ports and Factories burning coal and pumping CO2 into the atmosphere 

-Coal dust makes breathing difficult, people die from lung disease

-Water from mines enter into a river and fish die

-Productivity and profit decrease as workers take time of work due to illness

-In southern China, government requires factories to use taller chimneys whcih filters out pollutants

-Steel factories encouraged to deal with recycled steel

-Law suits used against government for not taking responsibility and allowing water pollution to happened. However there is low compensation
