  • ATTACH BONE TO BONE
  • BANDS OF TOUGH, FIBEROUS TISSUE
  • MAKES JOINT STABLE, PREVENTS EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT

TENDONS:

  • ATTACH MUSCLE TO BONE
  • MOST COMMON: ACHILLES
  • TENDONS CAN RAPTURE, COMMON IN NETBALL AND FOOTBALL
