Business Studies- Communication

Internal Communications happen within  a business.

External Communications take place between people and organisations outside of the business.

Vertical Communication are messages sent between people within the same business but of a different level of hierarchy.

Horizontal Communications are messages sent to and from people within the same level of hierarchy.

Formal Communications are formal messages sent by an organisation.

Informal Communication are messages not officially approved to be sent by the organisation.

A channel of Communication is the path taken by the message.
