BS EN 23758 is the Care Labelling Code. Care labels are voluntary and use symbols that are consistent with after care equipment
regulations require most textile products to be labelled with type and quantity by percentage of different fibres used
the label must use the generic name of the fibre like Elastane rather than Lycra
