Firstly...

Air is breathed in through the nose/mouth- then down trachea-Bronchi---Bronchioles---Alveoli-----Oxygen in CAPILLARIES by DIFFUSION.

  • Into the red blood cells- reacts with oxygen to make OXYHAEMOGLOBIN.
  • Then into PULMONARY VEIN (into heart)
  • Into heart--LEFT ATRIUM---LEFT VENTRICLE (has valves to prevent backflow)
  • Aorta (main artery)
  • Into SMALLER ARTERIES
  • Then CAPILLARIES
  • OXYGEN and HAEMOGLOBIN--Respiration=glucose+oxygen--CO2+water (In the mitochondria)
  • Through the VEINS
  • VENA CAVA

Into heart (RIGHT ATRIUM)

RIGHT VENTRICLE
PULMONARY ARTERY

Finally back into the CAPILLARIES- CYCLE STARTS AGAIN!
