Losing Weight

Ways to lose mass

  • Reduce amount of energy taken in
  • Increase amount of excercise

Some people attend slimming groups which give advice. They normally involve eating few energy rich foods and/or taking excercise.

Excercise can make you healthier by increasing the proportion of muscle to fat. It can also make your heart healthier.

Lack of food

In some countries there is not enough food  and people are underweight or malnourished because there is not enough food to eat. A lot of factors can destroy crops.

A lack of mineral ions and vitamins can lead to deficiency diseases. They also occur if you do not have a balanced diet.
