Bacteria Cells

Bacteria cells have NO Nucleus

  • Chromosomal DNA- this controls what the cell does. It floats free in the cytoplasm (not in a nucleus)
  • Plasmids- are small loops of extra DNA. They aren't part of the chromosome.
  • Flagellum- is a long, hair-like strucure. It rotates to make the bacterium move
  • The cell is supported by a cell wall.
