Hormones

Menstrual cycle 28 days, 14th day egg released, this is known as ovulation

FSH - Causes eggs in the ovaries to mature                       secreted from the pituatry gland              stimulates the production of Oestrogen

Oestrogen- Causes the lining of the womb to build up                  Inhibits the production of FSH           made and secreted by ovaries                           encourages production of LH

LH- Stimulates the release of a mature egg from ovaries                           secreted by the pituitary gland
