Organelles: Cell's contaoin a variety of internal structures called organelles. It performs specif functions for the cell.
Nucleus:A large organelle near the centre of the cell, contolls the cell's activitys and holds the cell's genetic information.
Chloropast: Contains Chlorophyll- a green pigmant. Used in the process of photosynthesis.
Cytoplasm: 90% water and dissolved substances. A clear jelly like fluid that fills the cell. Contains all the organelles within the cell.
Vacuoles: Membrane-bound sacs within the cytoplasm. Provides:structural support, storage, waste, disposal, protection and growth.
Cell membrane: Security guard checklist: Remember cell(cell membrane), Let some people in and out of the building(Let some substances in and out), Support people(support the cell), Guard the doors carefully(Protect the cell from the outsie enviroment)
Animal cell:(contains the following structures) cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm.
Mitosis and Meiosis
Mitosis- Nucleus divides so new cells have identical genes to parents.(Asexual reproduction, 1 parent)
Meiosis:( Sexual reproduction) New cells made by gametes joining.
