Battle of Hattin

Saladin had: 30,000 infantry inclduing 12,000 cavalry 

Guy had: 20,000 infantry, including 1,200 cavalry

strategy: filled in all the wells, guys army dehydrated, saladin harrassed the camp over night. 

saladins decison making was good 

decided to force a confrontation 

decided to attack tiberias, it was far from water so when the christians arrived they would already be weakened
