Bacteria

Single-celled living organisms
1um in length
It is made up of cytoplasm surrounded by a membrane and a cell wall
Inside the the bacterial cell is the genetic material
The long strand of DNA (the bacterial chromosome) is usually circular and found free in the cytoplasm
They also contain plasmids which ar circular bits of DNA whic carry extra genetic information
Slime capsule around the outside of the cell wall
They have flagellum, a long protein strand that lashes about

Yeast reproduce by asexual budding
The anaerobic respiration of yeast is called fermentation
