B5.4 - Viral diseases
Measles - spread by droplet infection, causes fever and rash. No cure, vaccinations and Isolation prevents spread.
HIV - causes flu, unless contolled by drugs the virus attacks immune system. Aids occour when immune system is damadged so badly it cant deal with other infections.
HIV spread by sexual contact or when druggies share needles - peak lol!
Tobacco mosaic virus - spread by contact and vectors, Damages leaves and reduces photosynthesis. No cure, prevented by field hygeine and pest controll.

B5.5 - Bacterial diseases...
samonella - undercooked food and poor hygeine. Sypmtoms - fever, cramps dioreahh and vomiting. In Uk poultry are vaccinated against samonella to controll disease spread.
Gonorrhoea - Sexually transmitted disease. Symptoms - discharge from penis or vagina, pain when you wee. Trated by antibiotics, many strains are resistant tho! Stop spreading by wrapping willys with condoms sillys and limiting sexual partners.

B5.6 - Disease caused by fungis (like me) and prot
Rose black spot - fungal disease, spread by wind and water, damages leaves, they drop off, affects photosynthesis, controlled by removing affected leaves and using chemical sprays. Not very effective tho peak!!
Malaria - parasitic protists, spread by female mosquito bites, damages blood and liver cells, casues shaking and fevers. Some druges effective if given early BUT the protists are becoming resistant. Spread reduced by preventing vectors from reproducing and using netting around people.

Body defences - skin, the nose, the bronchi and stomach.
White blood cells help defend you against pathogens by ingesting them and making antibodies and antioxins to fight the bacteria.... beef!!!
