Diffusion

The net movement of molecules from a region of high concentration to an area of low concentration

1 of 7

Fick's Law

Diffusion is proportional to Surface area X Concentration gradient

                                                                   Diffusion pathway

2 of 7

Transport across membranes

Diffusion : Passive process, uses no carriers

Osmosis : Passive process, uses no carriers

Facilitated Diffusion : Passive process, uses carrier proteins

Active Transport : Active process, uses carriers proteins

Condensation Reaction Amino acid

Removes the  -OH group of one and the -H group of the other so it removes H2O

It forms a peptide bond between the C and the N
