Ad Hoc Network

What is Ad Hoc Network?

Ad hoc network is a type of wireless network that does not require a cable to connect to a router and other devices in order to organise the Network.

What are examples of Ad hoc networks?

Open Wifi, Personal Hotspot and Tethering.

Open Wifi

in areas such as Restuarants,Fasts food Places and Hotels. However, it is not encrypted which means that Users which recieve and send information might not be able to do it safely because it could be intercepted by Hackers if there is no encryption.

Tethering/ personal Hotspot

When a User has no Interent Connection, it connects its device to another Device that has Internet Connection. This is called Tethering. Personal Hotspots are easy to enable.
