A Midsummer Night's Dream, Act 5, Scene 1

Scene 1

  • The mechanicals (exept for Bottom) are woryed about where Bottom is
  • Bottom enters and all of the mechanicals are exited
    • Bottom tells them to calm doun and to prepare for the play
  • Theseus asks Philostrate to bring him a list of acts that are good for entertainment
  • Philostrate gives him the list and Theseus decides to watch Bottom's play (not the song mentioned earlyer)
  • The mechanicals do their play, and they stunk at it, although their audiance was amused.
  • The play ends and Theseus, and the rest of the lovers go to bed
  • Oberon and Titania bless the weddings
