A Christmas Carol Plot

In 'A Christmas Carol' we see a character called Ebeneezer Scrooge a man who is a miser and does not enjoy Christmas at all, he thinks that christmas is a 'buh' 'humbug'. Also he has a clerk named Bob Cratchit who has a candle next to him to warm himself up as Scrooge is selfish and does not want to share the coal box with his own clerk. Later on in the novella Scrooge is visited by his old business partner Jacob Marley who comes and warns Scrooge about that if he does not change his selfish act then he will face the consequences as Marley is facing, Marley now understands that mankind was his business and warns Scrooge that he will be haunted by three ghosts.

The Ghost Of Christmas Past Comes and wakes Scrooge up and takes him on an  adventure of his childhood where Scrooge sees his old apprenticeship partner Fezziwig and how they had fun together also the ghost shows him about his failed engagement and his sister who comes and takes Scrooge when they were young. This makes Scrooge quite happy to see his memory of his childhood.

The Ghost Of Christmas present Comes just after the other ghost leaves and takes Scrooge to Bob Cratchits house to see what they are doing and how they enjoy christmas, we see how the Cratchit family are poor yet they appreciate the food that are given to them. Also we see how Scrooge changes in terms of his behaviour as he finds out that if he does not change then Tiny Tim will die and this shows how Scrooge begs mercy from the Ghost Of Christmas Present about Tiny Tim being spared. Also we see how Fred and his friends celebrate by playing a game .

And the Last ghost is Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come and shows Scrooge terrible visions of a man who has just died which Scrooge does not realise that the man is him, also there are murderers taking belongings of that dead man who is Scrooge and they talk about how evil he was and now the man is dead they take all his stuff e.g money. Then the ghost takes him to a grave where it says his name Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Scrooge then awakens from the dream he has and finds out that he has a chance to change and mend his way and celebrate christmas his own way, he first buys a turkey and sends it to the Cratchits family then enjoys himself in christmas and also goes to Fred (Scrooge's Nephew) party which he attends and celebrate with his friends and knows that he has changed also he is a second father of Tiny Tim as he has changed his behaviour meaning that Tiny Tim lives.
