  • The wave of depolarisation is delayed to allow the atria to contract.
  • The wave of depolarisation goes down the bundle of his.
  • the bundle of his seperates in to the right and left ventricular walls.
  • The wave of depolarisation is carried by the purkinye fibers.
  • Contraction starts at the bottom and up - away from the apex
  • This results in a strong unison contraction
