When to use it
It is used in situations that use/to express doubt, e.g. I don't believe he's guilty
How to form it
Ar verbs
Put the verb into the first person present form, then take off the o and add the following:
I = e
You = es
He/she/it = e
We = emos
You = éis
They = en
e.g. Hablar = hablo = hable
Er and ir verbs
Put the verb into the first person present form, then take off the o and add the following:
I = a
You = as
He/she/it = a
We = amos
You = áis
They = an
e.g. Escribir = escribo = escriba
Comer = como = coma
Irregulars
Dar = dé, des, dé, demos, deis, den
Estar = esté, estés, esté, estemos, estéis, estén
Haber = haya, hayas, haya, hayamos, hayáis, hayan
Ir = vaya, vayas, vaya, vayamos, vayáis, vayan
Saber = sepa, sepas, sepa, sepamos, sepáis, sepan
Ser = sea, seas, sea, seamos, seáis, sean
