Page size, settings, orientation
Size of paper can be set by user to meet their needs. Some different sizes
include: A4, A3, legal, tabloid
Page margins are the blank spaces around the side of the page. Text,
graphics are put in the middle in the printable area, except for headers,
footers, which contain things like dates, names, and page numbers, these are
put in the page margins.
The user can select the page orientation. It can be portrait or landscape.
Text alignment, size, style
User can select the most appropriate alignment for their needs. Text can be
centre, right, left or justified aligned.
Users can select different font styles to use. Some fonts are easy to read
like: Times New Roman, Comic Sans MS, Arial, and, Verdana. Some font
styles are harder to read: AR DECODE, mistral, and Vivaldi. Fonts can be
highlighted, by the use of bold, underline, italic, or highlighter function. The
font style must be appropriate for the needs of the end user.
Size of font can be selected. Must be appropriate for the needs of the end
user and appropriate for the document being produced, most letters are
written in size 12 font. It would be hard to read a business letter in size 8
font, size 12 font is used for this type of document.
