Mechanisms- Movement

A mechanism creates movement within a product - there will be occasions when you need to apply a mechanism to a product; whether it be a moving toy or a piece of serious engineering! an example could be some runners underneath the seat on a pedalo so that different lengthed people can easily pedal.#

There are four types of movement ...

1. Rotating (turning in a circle)

2.Linear (Moving in one direction i.e a straight line)

3. Reciprocal (Moving backwards and forwards)

4. Oscillating ( Swinging in alternate directions)
