What is Lee's theory exactly?
· Everett Lee in 1966 he created his migration model.
· Lee outlines the factors which cause and prevent migration. He
separates the push factors and pull factors. In-between there is the
intervening obstacles such as physical things such as deserts or
cultural barriers like languages.
· He states that the degree of migration within a country depends on
the conditions there.
· It also depends on the individual characteristics of the population in
a region. These change the type of migration. These characteristics
