First 130 words of the document:

HR STRATEGY
Hard hrm
Utilizes employees Treats people as if they are just another
resource (they need to be monitored and evaluated). Makes
employees as efficient as possible but then replaces them as they
would with any other resource ("Hire & Fire"). HRM is used as a
control mechanism and most of the members of staff will be on
parttime or temporary contracts.
Soft hrm
Focuses on motivational needs of the staff empowering people so
there are high levels of employee participation. This is more
democratic because people are regarded as a major source of
having an advantage over competitors. This makes staff feel
valuable & they are given objectives which motivates them.
