Subject Pronouns:
Je - I
Tu ­ You (singular) (informal)
Il/Elle/On ­ He/She/It/One
Nous ­ We, e.g. ... and I.
Vous ­ You (plural) (formal)
Ils/Elles ­ They; e.g. my friends, my aunt and uncle.
Verb Endings ER IR RE
Je -e -is -s
Tu -es -is -s
Il/Elle/On -e -it -
Nous -ons -issons -ons

Ils/Elles -ent -issent -ent
To form the verb:
Remove the last two letters from the infinitive; either ­er, -ir or ­re.
Add the appropriate verb ending to the stem.
A few examples:

CHANTER ­ TO SING The women sing
