Bar charts
Use when one set is a category (nominal data). For example, if comparing
the means of 2 conditions in a experiment, the 2 conditions form a category.
Use when sets are numerical. The y axis is frequency values on the x axis.
The bars are allowed to touch unlike a bar chart.
Frequency polygon
Used to compare 2 or more frequency distributions. It can show the results
of both conditions on the same graph
Scatter graphs
Used to illustrate a correlation (when 2 variables are related.
5 types of correlations:
-strong negative
-weak negative
-strong positive
-weak positive
-no correlation
