METHODS OF RESOLVING CONFLICT

PEACE-KEEPING- sending in another force, police etc. (Rwanda and Congo war)
UNDERLYING CAUSES NEED TO BE ADDRESSED- CO-OPERATION IS NEEDED
APPEASMENT: form of PACIFISM- give in to demands
SANCTIONS
PROTEST:
Gains publicity
FORCE:
Acts as a DETERRENT
LEADS TO BITTERNESS
