Christians and Suicide
o In the past, many countries treated suicide as "self-murder" and therefore a

Christians and Animal Testing
o Christians vary in their views about medical research. There are two main trains
o On one hand, the Bible teaches that Humans are superior to animals
and that we have dominion over them, thus the right to use them.
o On the other hand, that superiority gives us the responsibility to look
after them. The Bible teaches that `a righteous man takes care of his
animals' and even the laws about keeping Sabbath are applied to
animals; no domesticated animal is allowed to work on a Saturday. This
means that as most research is cruel and causes pain, it is unjustified.
