Bar charts
Used when one set is a category (nominal data). For example. If comparing the
means of 2 conditions in an experiment the 2 conditions would form one category.
Used when both sets are numerical data. The y axis is the frequency of the
x axis
The bars are allowed to touch, unlike bar charts
Frequency polygon
Compares 2 or more frequency distributions. It can show the results of
both conditions on the same graph
The points aren't joined to zero
Scatter graphs
Used to show a correlation. 5 types:
Strong negative Strong positive
Weak negative Weak positive
No correlation
