The Christian view of creation
Christians believe that when God created the Earth he
made mankind different from animals:
Now the LORD God had formed out of
the ground all the beasts of the field and
all the birds of the air.
Genesis 2:19
The LORD God formed the man...from
the dust of the ground and breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life.
Genesis 2:7
What do you think Christians take this
difference to mean?

Here's a taster:

Belief of superiority
Christians believe that God set mankind apart from all
creation by making man `in his own image' (Genesis 1:27).
Therefore, it is believed that humans are superior beings to
animals and that human life is more valuable. This view is
also shown in Matthew's Gospel:
Look at the birds of the air...
are you not much more
valuable than they?
Matthew 6:26
Thus, some Christians would argue
that animal testing is acceptable,
because human life is more important.
