The Judiciary

Advantages

  • More legitimacy
  • Ethnic minorities have more faith
  • Systems are fairer

Disadvantages

  • Appointments should be made on merit
  • Judicial neutrality exists
  • Rule of law means decisions are made with no bias

Evaluation

Overall, I believe that judicial appointments should be made more socially representative to appeal to more ethnic minorities and so they have more faith. Although, appointments should be made on merits, not to appeal to the public.
