	Advantages Large population (5 million) Castilian Cortes had 3 houses and only Big wool business Public saw lots of their royal family which increased support Unified State Single Coinage and Language Strong monarchy Strong economy	Disadvantages Monarchs decisions had to go through the cortes Weak cortes Clashes with Portugal, France and Aragon Struggles in the North
	Evaluation There were greater advantages to Castile, showing that it was a strong and powerful kingdom and that it could be used to unify all of Spain
