Reasons For & Against taking Drugs and Alcohol.

Advantages

  • Some are addicted to alcohol/Nicotine ~ Can't help but drink/smoke
  • Alcohol connected with celebrated susccess/special events
  • Peer Pressure
  • Addicted to nicotine ~ can't help but smoke
  • Smoking keeps weigh down ~ Way to relieve stress

Disadvantages

  • Alcohol is wrong unless taken to exess
  • Low social exceptance of smoking
  • Smoking has negative effect on smoker's health

Evaluation

Islam - Alcohol is forbidden, makes mind unfit to concentrate on Allah and duties in being a Muslim. Also harms body Allah gave. Smoking is discouraged but If Muslim does smoke, its forbidden during Ramadan fast.Christianity - Most of Christain church don't forbid drinking of alcohol in moderation. Most Christains use alcoholic wine in Holy Communion. Smoking is discouraged for harm it causes however its person's choice. Smoking harms body God Created
