I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages because as a result of this, the area can improve economically by globalisation (big brands can give the place a larger sphere of influence), environmentally; due to less pollution being given out because of manufacturing and also improved socially as this regeneration can make a place look more attractive & bring more people in. It will also be a more updated place with the addition of modern technology which can be another social benefit.
