Mobile Broadband

Advantages

  • You wouldn't have to be restricted to working at home as you can be able to pick up 3G signal in most locations
  • It allows you to work much more flexibly as you  would no longer be restricted  to working in areas with WIFI connections
  • Mobile broadband is more secure than a WIFI connection as all data is encrypted
  • The ability to work anywhere means that you can save costs by minimising office space
  • You wont need a landline or cable access the Internet-saves money
  • You can use mobile broadband to use VoIP technology to call people instead of having to pay for expensive international calls

Disadvantages

  • You may not be able to get consistent 3G signal everywhere and in some places there may be no 3G reception at all
  • If you have access to the internet while abroad, you will incur roaming charges which can be expensive
  • Most providers limit the amount user can upload and download and if you go over the limit then you will have to pay
  • Being able to access the internet any time and anywhere means that you may not know when to stop working, which could put him under pressure and cause stress

Evaluation

in addition I think mobile broadband is good as  you can access internet when-ever and in the long run in will save you money. Also it is more secure than a WIFI connection is also good. However I think not being able to always get consistent 3G  is a bad thing, however I think you are more likely to get a signal then not pick up one. I think the advantages out way the disadvantages, and mobile broadband is a good option
