	Advantages Greater resolving power than LM- due to shorter WL	Disadvantages Whole system must be in a vaccum- living species can't be observed. Complex staining process needed- images will still be in black and white Specimen must be thin Image must contain artefacts
	Evaluation SEM limitations are the same as TEM only the specimen doesn't have to be thin because electrons do not pentrate.
