Advantages

  • Jobs in locals areas
  • Better paid jobs

Disadvantages

  • damage to landscape
  • destroys animal's habitats
  • dust pollution

Evaluation

Limestone production is helpful towards the social aspects especially through employment. But it doesn't really help the environment at all, almost destroying it and reducing the biodiversity.
