EvaluationThe categorical imperative puts the respect of humanity and equality before anything else. Although, to put duty before human emotions such as love and compassion is difficult. In a normal situation it is highly likely that human nature would be to act emotionally before from a position of duty. While everyone has a relatively similar attitude towards morality, it is often the case that duty will be seen as a lesser motive in a situation. |
