Geography - Human's impact on Rainforests

  • Deforestation
  • Mining
  • More jobs and money needed
  • Building architecture and hotels etc
  • Poaching or unnecessary killing of animals in the wild

  • Extinction of animals
  • Habitat loss
  • Soil erosion
  • Climate change
  • Pollution
  • Less oxygen

Overall summary

Humans use the rain forest as a way of getting resources and wood, as well as clearing the rain forests for buildings. This causes deforestation in order to get the wood and resources but because of the deforestation there will be a decrease in animals, habitat loss, climate change and pollution because there will be less trees and flora.
