Advantages

initial success - first 20 law reform programs became law within two years
consolidation and codifaction
recent reforms from 1990
quicker implementation - A fast track system for bills the gellicoe procedure and annual reporting

Disadvantages

reduced implementations - in 1990 non of the suggestions became law and they show little interest in technical laws and is more focused on the political agenda.
limited paerlimentary time to look at law reform- changes to the offecence against a persons act 1861
lack of codifacation - draft criminal code / full criminal code
staffing, budgitary and time constationt

Evaluation

other forms of law reform are royal commision ( the philips commision) and reviews by judges wololf reports or leverson enquire into press standards
