Consequences of war

Consequences of war

  • Freedom from an occupying power
  • Removal of a corrupt government and its replacement with something better.

  • Death- about 55 million died in WWII alone, and in modern wars most deaths are civilians.
  • Injury- many more millions of people are injured than killed and vast majority are civilians.
  • Refugees
  • Mental illnesses caused by traumatic experiences.
  • Kidnapping and training of child soldiers
  • Disease and famine
  • destruction of relationships, a way of life, the economy and infrastructure.

In an idea outcome, the good effects would outweigh the bad.
