  • not many people will want to live near a quarry so therewill be decreasing values of houses around the area
  • can affect the health of locals (lung issues)
  • disfigures the landscape

Evaluation

although the quarries produce helpful limestone which can be either driven to other places or used in the local area, it is dangerous and can affect health. It also pollutes the local area with both noise and CO2 from the limestone kilns. Often it can help boost an areas economy and this is beneficial however it is a nuisance to the villagers that live close by to the quarry
