Batch production

Advantages

  • production is quicker
  • it's cheaper to produce each item
  • you can meet different demand levels

Disadvantages

  • can't customise products as much
  • takes time to switch production
  • stock may be sitting about

Evaluation

They should use batch production because production is quicker and more efficient so it means it;s not as time consuming for the producer. They shouldn't use batch production critically because they can't appeal to a specific customer as the products aren't as unique.
